Axis Music Education Series

The Axis Music Education Series on Saturday and Sunday afternoons will offer expert panel discussion on topics ranging from careers in music to band management to booking and publicity. The Axis Music Education Series at the Metro Music Expo is designed to provide valuable insight and education to music students of all ages and skill levels.

Saturday, September 13th

1:00 PM : Careers in Music you’ve never considered:
Learn about careers in the music industry far beyond those of musician or teacher.

2:00 PM : (2 hr session) Songwriting Essentials:
Learn the best and easiest way to write memorable songs regardless of genre or style, and how to connect lyrics to melodies more effectively. Understand the methods used by top songwriters to write thoughtful lyrics that get the point across and are still singable. Write a song from scratch during the session as a group.
